Work placement, remote and on-site, is determined based upon the needs of the College. Remote work parameters are subject to CVTC guidelines, handbook, and specific individual department workplace expectations.   The Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, creating, modifying, testing, implementing, and maintaining enhancements and interfaces for assigned software applications. This position also has responsibility for maintaining system documentation, training “power users”, providing technical support services, detailed systems design and development, strategic area planning, and providing reports/reporting capability for relevant application areas. This position reports to the Applications Team Manager.   Responsibilities: - Provide technical support for implementation and administration of assigned module(s) of college information systems. - Provide detailed business/systems analysis and design for on-going business process improvements. - Review user requirements and needs, complete all programming, testing, and documentation necessary to complete development tasks. - Continually monitor emerging technology trends in areas of responsibility in order to quickly adapt to new technologies/business change. - Prepare software requirements following standards; provide technical support and assistance for software development by other staff. - Develop, modify, and maintain assigned software applications per requirements. - Carry out fact finding and program analysis of problems; apply established procedures to bring resolution. - Create and maintain user and technical documentation. - Create reports using standard reporting tools such as Cognos. - Provide technical advice and support to users, including creating ad-hoc reports, data analysis and correction, training, and problem solving. - Provide training to other IT Analysts in areas of responsibility to increase the business and technical understanding. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Diversity Resources staff and front-line service to students. As a member of the Diversity Resources team, this position reports to the Diversity Manager.   Responsibilities: - Provide front-line customer service and general clerical functions for the Diversity Resources department including, but are not limited to: general college knowledge and problem solving for student, staff, and faculty inquiries, answering phones, responding to emails, preparing files, coordinating scheduling, gathering data, running reports, data entry, sending written correspondences, and maintaining legal records/documents in confidence. - Demonstrate commitment to customer service excellence standards to students, staff, and general public. - Triage general inquiries and connect visitors to the appropriate resources, departments, or individuals. - Assist with appointment scheduling, communication, and general outreach for at-risk students. - Assist with the coordination of department test proctoring services, including scheduling, administering tests, using and providing training on assistive technology, monitoring test takers, and following procedures to ensure compliance. Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) is establishing a pool of qualified candidates to be considered when adjunct and/or substitute instructors are needed to teach Early Childhood Education courses.
