    Based on hourly staff, level 4: Starting rate of $15.46. Pay rate will be commensurate with qualifications.

    8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. This position is customer-focused and may require the ability to adjust schedule to meet College, department, and customer needs.

  • Overview and Responsibilities

    The K-12 Relations Assistant supports CVTC’s K-12 Relations team. This team is responsible for creating partnerships with local school districts to offer college credit opportunities in area high schools. The K-12 Relations Assistant performs functions related to setting up K-12 course contracts, recruitment, and enrollment.



    • Document, monitor, and update High School Academy information.
    • Create and update guidebooks and other procedural materials related to K-12 dual enrollment.
    • Set up High School Academy orientations and information sessions.
    • Collect information necessary to set up dual enrollment courses and gather all required contract information.
    • Coordinate CESA (Cooperative Educational Service Agency), Start College Now, and High School Academy courses; including scheduling, instructor assignment, location and room assignment, etc.
    • Communicate High School Academy schedules to appropriate College Specialists.
    • Monitor course enrollments.
    • Conduct recruitment activities for contract courses and High School Academies.
    • Initiate and follow-up on communications and correspondence related to transcripted credit meetings and verification of documentation.
    • Process dual enrollment applications, verifying pre-requisites.
    • Communicate enrollment, registration, and transcript/certificate information to dual enrollment students and stakeholders.
    • Coordinate and send transcripts, certificates, acceptance letters, and related correspondence.
    • Coordinate and conduct administrative tasks related to articulation agreement renewals; equipment and instructional resource ordering; High School Academy brochure updates; and website updates.
    • Provide general administrative support for the K-12 Relations team, including scheduling meetings and coordinating/reserving rooms, maintaining calendars, and making catering arrangements.
    • Facilitate course evaluations.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders across the College, particularly scheduling, program assistants, and records and registration.
    • Respond to written and verbal correspondence and address stakeholder questions.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Intermediate knowledge of and skills with technology including software programs for communication, data collection, and decision making including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, Banner and Lumens.


    • Associate’s degree in an administrative professional, business, or related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a professional office environment.
    • Experience in education preferred.
